Product Overview
QiuGe Helper is a desktop workspace for manufacturing operations teams.
Its clearest direction today is not "generic office software." It brings these capability groups into one Electron desktop shell:
- task collaboration and board flow
- business object management for molds, projects, products, and customers
- File Assistant and LAN Assistant
- invitation-code driven licensing
- local-first session recovery and workspace switching
Who the current release fits best
The current product is a strong fit when your team needs most of the following:
- desktop-first operational flow instead of a browser-only entry
- heavy file movement across local folders and FTP / FTPS / SFTP sites
- one continuous workflow across tasks, business objects, and file handling
- offline licensing, weak-network runtime, or local database storage
- Windows as the main delivery environment
What this product is not
To keep the website factual:
- it does not present unfinished capabilities as roadmap promises
- it does not claim equal maturity across every desktop platform
- it is described as a manufacturing operations workspace, not a universal SaaS platform
Capability map
1. Workspaces and navigation
- one server entry maps to one workspace
- workspace switching, Discovery, and Tools share the same desktop shell
- an unreachable remote workspace can fall back to the local one
2. Task collaboration
- regular tasks and recurring tasks are licensed separately
- view, edit, and create are unified inside one work modal
- the board, task pool, attachment preview, and persistent layout are already shipped
3. Business modules
- current coverage includes molds, mold development, mold modification, projects, products, customers, suppliers, and materials
- detail and edit flows are being consolidated around one modal pattern
- molds and products already support version records
4. File workbench
- the tools workspace includes File Assistant and LAN Assistant
- the app can open PDF, spreadsheets, Word, JSON, code, images, audio, and video
- FTP / FTPS / SFTP transfer, synchronized browsing, and remote write-back are already connected
5. Licensing and local-first runtime
- module availability depends on invitation-code configuration plus local activation data
- session, workspace, and part of the tool state can be restored after restart
- startup now flows through a welcome screen instead of an engineering status page
