Workspace Navigation

The main shell has already moved beyond the old pattern where server switching was buried in an avatar dropdown. It now uses a clearer model: workspaces plus global modules.

One server entry equals one workspace

The current rules are straightforward:

  • the default local server is the default workspace
  • every remote server entry maps to its own workspace
  • business routes in the main navigation belong to the current workspace context

Two navigation domains

Workspace domain

Modules such as the dashboard, task pages, molds, products, and customers all depend on the current server context.

Global domain

Modules such as Discovery and Tools stay available regardless of which workspace is active.

This matters because switching servers should not pull users away from the file or utility flow they are currently handling.
