v0.4.0 is a full desktop architecture release. The AI assistant moves to a new Agent runtime, the main business modules share one dense collaborative workbench, and the Windows installer includes the complete offline environment required by the Agent.
AI assistant
- Continuous conversations, tool calls, interruption, and recovery are more reliable. Requests for missing information continue inside the current task.
- The Windows installer bundles the complete Agent runtime. Python, Node.js, Git, uv, and FFmpeg do not need to be installed separately.
- Account tokens, workspaces, permissions, and memory context are isolated by session and temporary authorization data is removed when a session closes.
- The AI workspace supports split, full-screen, draggable overlay, and minimized modes with denser tool progress, thread navigation, and composing UI.
Unified management workspaces
- Products, styles, projects, molds, mold development, mold modification, regular tasks, quotations, customers, suppliers, plastics, and steels use the same management-table interactions.
- Search, filtering, progressive loading, column settings, row and column ordering, cell editing, batch changes, team custom columns, formatting, and realtime collaboration are consistent across modules.
- Creating, viewing, and editing moves into the right-side multi-tab workspace. Forms save only after content changes and all validation passes.
- Same-field collaboration conflicts show both versions for an explicit choice, while different-field changes merge safely and reconnects backfill missed updates.
- Admin roles, users, positions, and position types now use the upgraded workbench as well, including full search and filtering, progressive loading, table personalization, inline editing, custom columns, and realtime collaboration.
- Sensitive changes such as permissions, account status, and administrator access are previewed and confirmed in the right-side workspace. Position records are now separated from user position history, with historical assignments safely backfilled during upgrade.
- A new permissions center lets administrators configure view, create, edit, delete, configuration, approval, and execution actions by business module. Removed permissions now tighten menus, direct routes, APIs, and already-open workspaces together.
- Cross-module candidate lists follow the target module's view permission, preventing restricted accounts from seeing protected users or business records through tasks, quotations, or related pages.
Business capabilities
- Regular tasks add generated IDs, tags, time tracking, completion criteria, blockers, collaborators, followers, dependencies, checklists, and general attachments.
- The regular-task toolbar is simplified to search, realtime status, task settings, view switching, and create. Status and owner filters move into a fixed bottom row so narrow windows no longer stretch the page.
- Short regular-task lists no longer pull the bottom filter bar upward, hidden system and custom columns no longer leave narrow placeholders, and long-term column toggles are separated from temporary session hides.
- Task tables now support cell and row selection, full-result filter options, and automatic loading in batches of 50. Personal column layouts, filters, and formatting are no longer overwritten by other members' realtime events.
- Task search now supports 300 ms live search, Enter-to-run, clear-to-reset, personal search memory, pinyin/initial/multi-keyword matching, and related business names or IDs.
- The blocker column header filter now covers blocker notes, unfinished dependencies, and unfinished checklist items, matching the blocker markers shown in the list.
- The task board now uses six mutually exclusive date groups: Today, Tomorrow, This Week, This Month, Other, and Archived. Overdue tasks move into Today, and dates recalibrate after day changes or window refocus.
- Board cards are denser and support within-column ordering plus cross-column scheduling. Dragging changes planned time only and does not overwrite the business due date.
- The duplicate floating batch-edit layer was removed from the task page. Table batch editing and previews remain available, and board mode no longer carries stale selections from the table.
- Tree/flat task selection now lives in the table button hover menu, preventing toolbar shifts when switching between table and board. Board dragging now lands locally first and confirms in the background to reduce bounce-back and flicker.
- Projects, molds, mold development, mold modification, and quotations gain complete filtering, batch editing, optional columns, and relation-consistency protection. Quotation year and tag controls now stay fixed at the bottom of the page, and empty states plus create actions have complete Chinese and English copy.
- Customers, suppliers, plastics, and steels gain IDs/year/tags, material images, supplier relations, reference protection, and unified editing workspaces.
- The work overview now provides realtime summaries for tasks, projects, products, molds, customers, and quotations, with direct drill-down from charts.
Workspaces, entitlements, and fixes
- A consistent database backup is created before migrations and the latest three are retained. Failed upgrades stop without replacing the original data.
- Fixes cover repeated refreshes and stalls in Materials, missing management endpoints after the refactor, stuck list loading, navigation flicker, and narrow-window layout problems.
- Cloud sign-in now renews silently for long-running sessions. When authentication truly expires, the app explains it clearly while preserving local business data and conversations.
- Personal offline use now connects to the built-in local workspace automatically, even when a saved remote workspace is offline or the computer has no internet connection.
- Workspaces now clearly distinguish personal and team modes: first-time personal offline use creates one local administrator automatically, needs no registration or license file, and does not expose member invitations or LAN sharing until upgraded to a team.
- Team owners gain local super-admin authority from their cloud owner identity, and regular members can join with the owner's address plus a one-time invite code.
- Owners get a 30-day offline validity period plus a 7-day grace period. After that, existing members can continue business work and revoke access, while new members, expanded permissions, and shared configuration wait for the owner to reconnect.
- Settings now shows personal workspace, team verified, grace period, or owner-online-required status, including expiration time and the reason for any current limit.
- Team joining now uses a one-time invite flow directly, without the old approval wait or reusable invite code. Personal-workspace custom fields, table layouts, and formatting remain editable locally.
- Historical teams without a cloud owner can now be safely claimed from Settings by an existing local administrator, with an impact preview, avoiding the deadlock where no super administrator could obtain super-administrator access.
- Team members inherit the owner's business module ceiling: PLUS unlocks every module except background task scheduling, while PRO unlocks all modules. The owner's desktop permissions center still controls what each member can view or edit.
- Website admin account permissions are clarified as business module ceilings. The workbench page shows only owner, plan, verification, and sync information, while local role and member allow/deny permissions stay in the desktop app.
- Fixed the desktop profile showing "Free" after website admin upgraded an account to PLUS or PRO. Account badges now read the latest cloud account tier.
- Fixed PRO accounts being misread as FREE during team claiming. Owner claiming now reuses the current signed-in account and silently refreshes expired sessions instead of asking for email and password again.
- The app now tolerates older entitlement responses during cloud rolling upgrades: even if an older
/api/cloud/me response lacks team booleans, PLUS/PRO can still enter the claim preview from the trusted plan tier, and the team-claim API deploys in cloud-first order to avoid desktop 404s.
- User names, phone numbers, addresses, and notes now save correctly. Account deletion defaults to deactivation so historical business records remain protected.
This release consolidates the planned v0.3.42 through v0.3.47 updates; those versions will not be published separately.
